Karan Kay Styer's Obituary
Karan Kay Styer passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5th, 2019. She was born in Paris, IL, on July 2, 1943. Since then, she has brought much love and light to her mother, Neva and step father, Harold Gardner.
In 1959, she married Robert (Bob) Styer, and they raised 3 children, Robert N. (Bobby) Styer, Debra Moore, and Sheila Newell. Karan was known for her quick wit and her giving spirit. She was always ready with a compliment and enjoyed spending time with her family and pets.
Karan was preceded in death by her siblings, Janet and Randall Carden; her step brother, Eddie Gardner; her son, Robert N.; and her son-in-law, Orville Rex Moore, Jr.. She will be remembered with love by her step sister, Penny (Tom) Halterman as well as many aunts and uncles, cousins, and grandchildren. A celebration of Karan’s life will be held in Danville, IL, later this summer.
