Justin Oneal Hillery's Obituary
Justin Oneal Hillery, 42, entered the loving arms of his lord and savior Jesus Christ on December 29, 2025. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Justin was born at Lakeland Regional Health on March 14, 1983, to Dan and Kathy Hillery. He graduated from Lake Gibson High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida. On April 1, 2024, Justin married the love of his life, Eden. Justin is survived by his wife, Eden, his parents, Dan and Kathy, his brother, Jeffrey (Heather), and nieces and nephew, Abbie, Amelia, and Abram. From the words of his friends: Justin was one of the greatest men. He had a heart of gold wrapped in endless kindness and laughter, and his infectious smile could light up a room. In his own words, he was “Just a cool dude living an extraordinary life with Cerebral Palsy.” Justin lived his life with Cerebral Palsy, a journey that shaped his remarkable resilience, perseverance, and appreciation for life. He faced challenges with courage and determination, inspiring everyone who knew him through his positive spirit and quiet strength. Justin found joy in watching movies, always appreciating a good story, had a genuine love for cars and admired their design and power. He enjoyed traveling whenever possible, he embraced new experiences with curiosity and excitement, making memories that will be treasured forever. Justin especially loved meeting new people and had a natural ability to make others feel welcomed and valued. His kindness, curiosity, and openness left lasting impressions and meaningful connections wherever he went. Above all, Justin was a loving and devoted husband. His love was constant, sincere, and deeply felt by his family and friends. He will be remembered not only for the challenges he overcame, but for the love he shared, the laughter he brought, and the meaningful relationships he built throughout his life. Justin’s life was defined not by limitations, but by life, courage, and the relationships he built.
Justin’s adventurous spirit, loving heart, and beautiful soul will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10:00am to 11:00am with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00am at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home, 1727 Bartow Road Lakeland Florida 33801. Burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Gardens.
