Julio Reinaldo Rodriguez's Obituary
Julio Reinaldo Rodriguez Suarez (73) of Lakeland, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at home surrounded by family. Julio was born on June 25, 1950, in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico to Reinaldo Rodriguez and Ramona Suarez-Rodriguez.
When Julio become of age he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was a proud veteran. At this time, he also met the love of his life Norma Ghigliotty and they were married on August 8, 1970. They grew a family by adding two children Lynnette and Julio. He built a career in the home security industry as an alarm technician and worked tirelessly until his retirement. Julio enjoyed watching the Yankees especially when surrounded by family and friends.
Julio is preceded in death by his parents Ramona Suarez-Rodriguez and Reinaldo Rodriguez; sister Nellie Coppage; and brother Fernando Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife, Norma Iris Ghigliotty-Rodriguez; daughter Lynnette Napoles; son Julio Ricardo Rodriguez; grandsons Salvador Ricardo Rodriguez, Julio Raul Rodriguez, and Vincent Edgar Calderon; granddaughters Cecilia Alexandra Calderon, Mia Yanice Rodriguez, Gia Noemi Rodriguez, Fabiola Andrea Calderon and Naya Soleil Rodriguez; great grandsons Zion Zahmir Felder, Mason Everett Calderon, and Malik Anthony Calderon; sisters Irma Reguengo and Ivette Acosta; and brothers Jaime Rodriguez and Oscar Rodriguez. Julio was a strong presence and will be missed by many.
A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 1:00 P.M., immediately followed by funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland, Florida.
