Juan Jesus Gonzalbez, 54, passed away Friday August 1, 2014. Cause of death is pending.
Juan was born May 3rd, 1960, in Oriente, Cuba, to Juan and Elena Gonzalbez. He was a fun loving, hard working man who with great dignity was an amazing and devoted father. Juan loved fishing, the beach, and cooking out on the grille. His smile was as contagious as his sense of humor. He loved a good laugh and knew what the true meaning of family was. Juan will be greatly missed and will never be forgotten. As he would say, "There will never be another Jesus."
He is survived by his wife Kelly Gonzalbez, parents Juan and Elena Gonzalbez, son Mathew Gonzalbez, daughter Nina Gonzalbez, stepchildren Tony Costello, Miguel Maldonado, Tiffany and Genaro Villanueva, Daniel Prine, two grandchildren Christian and Luis Villanueva, three sisters Ida, Maria, and Yanel, four brothers Rafael, William, Flavio, and John, nine nephews, seven nieces and three great nieces.
Visitation will be Friday 1:00-2:00pm at First Baptist Church at The Mall, 1010 E. Memorial Blvd. Services will begin at 2:00pm. Arrangements by Gentry Morrison Funeral Homes, Southside Chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family at
