Joseph Benjamin Pierson's Obituary
Lakeland – Joseph Benjamin Pierson, 64, passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2016, in Ocala, FL. He was born in Jacksonville, FL, to Henry Jr. and Helen Pierson. Joseph moved to Lakeland where he became a long time resident. Joseph married Dianna, and they spent 44 years together, raising 3 sons. He was employed by TDI Nationwide/Pepperidge Farms as a truck driver. He was also a member of the Ridge Woodcarvers Club. Joseph will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Dianna; sons, Michael (Ashley) Pierson, David Pierson, and Jason (Ashten) Trimble; sisters, Mary Helen (Earlow) Costine and Edie Stephenson; and 7 grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 10 am followed by a funeral service at 11 am at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland, FL 33801. A graveside service will follow at Lakeland Memorial Gardens.
