Joseph "Kenny" Jordan's Obituary
Joseph “Kenny” Jordan, aged 72, of Lakeland FL, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025.
He was survived by his loving family; sons, Josh Jordan (Karen) and Jacob Jordan (Juliana), sister Kathy Pancio (Allen), Diane Jordan (as he would say, “The one that got away”), grandchildren Alexis Jordan, Joshua Jordan, Hannah Jordan and stepmother Helen Jordan.
He graduated from Lakeland High School 1972, and he was drafted into the US Army in 1972 and served until 1978. While in the US Army he was stationed in Germany in support of the Vietnam war. Kenny retired with the City of Lakeland after 26 years as a diesel mechanic, where he earned numerous certificates of appreciation for the great work he did. He was ASE certified specializing in diesel mechanics. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles and fishing.
In his recent years was baptized and found his way back to the Lord. He is preceded in death by father Joseph “JP” Jordan, mother Margaret Browning, sisters Linda Lindsay and JoAnne Browning.
A memorial will be held on Friday March 28th, 2025 at Gentry-Morrison Serenity Gardens Chapel. Visitation 10:00 am, Service 11:00 am.
