I have fond memories of visiting the car lot and talking with Dick and
John. John was friendly, and knew what was happening in the area,
especially with the little restaurant next door, which was constantly
changing hands.
We had some great lunches together. John actually introduced me to
Chuck and Peggy Green, auto detailers,, behind their car lot at that time.
They detailed all of my families cars for years.
I pray for this family's comfort and peace in John's moving on to his
eternal life. I rest in the promise that Christ defeated death so we have
a way to be in the presence of the Father forever.
We lived across the street from John & Mary Ellen for a few years. Their 3 kids & our
3 kids were almost the same ages and spent many fun filled days together. Even
though we live in different cities now, they are still our closest friends. As we were transferred around the state, John would load everyone in the car & come visit us.
John & Jerry enjoyed playing golf together, and laughed as much as played golf.
John had a friendly smile & a happy chuckle for everyone. He will be missed by all
who knew him.
Loved my big brother so much, I will miss John so much. I was Blessed with three big brothers, John is now in Heaven with his big brother Dick. My brother Jim and me will always have our special memories of our brothers. Jim and I will miss our trips together, card games and just enjoying time and phone calls. I thank John and Mary for letting me live with them as a teenager and they weren't much older. Will miss and love you always, will see you again.
