John D Forshay's Obituary
John D. Forshay lost his battle with cancer on 8/23/24. He was born in Massillon Ohio to Tommy and Betty Forshay on February 2, 1957. He is survived by his wife Roxanna, children Donna (Keith) Schroeder, Melissa Locke, Christopher Booth and Donald Booth.
He is also survived by his brother David (Stella) Forshay and sisters Barbara Bender and Vicki Price. He had 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Tommy and Betty Forshay, son Robert Wallick Jr. , grandson Jeremiah Booth and granddaughter Alexandra Locke. He faithfully attended First Baptist Church of Lake Wales. He was a welder at Volvo White in Ohio for many years. When the company sold he took a severance pay and moved to Florida. He started his own trucking company until his eyesight failed him at which time he went to work for Walmart. He was there for 10 years before he had to retire due to health issues. John loved his family. He couldn't get enough of spending quality time with his wife and children. He loved to work. He always had a project going on, whether necessary or unnecessary. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him and knew him. We give all the praise and glory to God for restoring his ailing body!!
