John Presley Everlen, Jr.

Lakeland – Mr. John P. Everlen, Jr. passed away on October 8, 2014 due to heart failure. He was born in Marquette, MI and moved to the Lakeland area in 1976 from Mt. Zion, IL.
John loved his family more than anything. He enjoyed spending spare time hunting and fishing.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John P. & Emma B. Everlen. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly; children, Kyle & Courtney; mother, Eileen Yonker Everlen; sisters, Cyndi (Scott) Montgomery of Seymour, IN, Karen Jo Everlen Gross of Taylorville, IL, Lisa (Chan) Surrency of Plant City, FL, Carol (Bob) Dalton of Texarkana, TX, Brenda (Jerry) Baker of Texarkana, TX, Sherry (Ken) Haney of Tucson, AZ.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 10:00 – 11:00am at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens, 3350 Mall Hill Drive, Lakeland, FL 33810. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Socrum Cemetery.
