Joel Thomas Miller's Obituary
LAKELAND - Mr. Joel Thomas Miller, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina and has resided in Lakeland for many years. Joel worked as a heavy equipment operator with the I.U.O.E. Local #925. He was a member of Fellowship Church and also the local Masonic Lodge. Joel was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte. Survivors include his son, Todd (Jennifer) Miller of Easley, South Carolina; daughter, Deborah (Greg) VanHouter of Lakeland; brother, Paul Miller of Westminster, South Carolina; sister, Ruth Fleenor of Charlotte, North Carolina; and six grandchildren, Clayton, Dakota, Lindsey, Laurel, Leah, and Jonas. He was a wonderful Daddy and Grandpa. We love you. -
