JoAnne Jordan Browning's Obituary
JoAnne Jordan Browning was an exceptional and beloved Wife, Mom, MeMe, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Friend and Prayer Warrior.
She was a woman of integrity, loyalty, strength, perseverance and steadfast love!
In times of need she was there to share her kindness, compassion and a sincere prayer. Her love for her family was immeasurable and she delighted in their company and accomplishments.
She attended church faithfully and loved her church family! She surrounded herself with amazing prayer partners. She also enjoyed sewing and embroidery and gifted her friends and family with her many beautiful creations.
JoAnne was born March 23, 1942 to Joseph P. Jordan and Margaret Browning. She was the oldest of 4 children. She had 2 sisters; Linda Gayle Lindsay and Kathy Pancio; and 1 brother Kenny Jordan.
As a young wife and mother, she dedicated her life to loving and raising her family. She holds a place of great esteem, love and respect in the hearts of her children and grandchildren. Her heart's desire was for her children and grandchildren to know and serve the Lord. Her many prayers will continue to be fulfilled.
JoAnne, 82, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior April 1, 2024. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Curtis F. Browning; her daughter Sheryl Anne; her father J.P. Jordan; her mother Margaret Browning; and her sister Linda Gayle Lindsay.
She is survived by her children; sons Dennis (Michelle), Curtis (Carol), David (Dina), Daniel (Ronda) and daughter Sherry Judd (Russell); her Son-in-law James; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
A remembrance service will be held at City On A Hill Church in Lakeland, FL on Friday, April 12th. Visitation 11 AM, Service 12PM.
