Jerry was born on 10/10/1947 to James and Doris Lewis in Baxley Georgia.. He lived in Eaton park Florida for the last 46 years. He went home to be with Jesus on 8/30/2021.
Jerry has always been a hard working man determined to provide for his family. He had a loving spirit, a kind heart and a willingness to help anyone who needed it. He was a loving husband, dad and papa and a great friend to all. His faith was evident to all who came into contact with him and he loves God with all of his heart. He was a member of Eaton Park Baptist church for many years. Jerry was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 55 years Judy Lewis, his children Jerome Lewis, Keith Lewis, Teresa Riley, Tina Durfee, Mark Lewis and his brother John Henry Lewis. He had 25 grandchildren and 57 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents James and Doris Lewis, his brothers Richard Lewis, Clarence Lewis and his sister Mary Kerse.
