Jeffrey Wayne Ward's Obituary
Jeffrey Wayne Ward, age 63, passed away surrounded by love and family Saturday, January 24, 2026. He was born on March 22, 1962, in Lakeland, Florida to Kenneth and Linda Ward. Jeffrey will be remembered for his love of family, his faith, his laughter, and the special bonds he shared with those closest to him. His legacy lives on through his wife, children, grandchildren, and family, who will carry his love forward.
Music was one of Jeff's greatest passions. He sang in a gospel quartet for many years with best friend Matt and loved it dearly. During the last weeks of his life, we could always get a smile and a sweet tear while listening to some of his quartet's music with his wife and family singing by his side. His love for music was shared with his wife, Debbie, often singing duets in church. This love passed down to his son and grandchildren. In the final years of his life his greatest joy was attending His Hands Reaching Worship Center to experience his son lead worship with grandson on the drums and granddaughter making guest appearances singing her praise songs. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife Debbie Ward, Lakeland, FL; mother, Linda Ward, Lakeland, FL; sister Julie Maxwell (Eric), Lakeland, FL; son, Dustyn Ward (Avril), Clinton, TN; daughter, Brittany Shular, Washburn, TN; grandchildren Josiah and Elliana Ward, nieces Mallory and Makayla Maxwell. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Ward.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, January 30, 2026, at 5:00pm at Gentry Morrison Funeral Homes, Southside Chapel.
