Jeannette P. Eady's Obituary
Jeannette P. Eady passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 79, after a 10-year journey with Alzheimer’s disease. Up until the end her kindness, grace, compassion, appreciation of faith, love of family and friends and expressed gratitude for her long life full of wonderful and varied experiences.
Jeannette was born April 09,1946 to her lovely parents Delancy Wescott and Ettie (Cryder) Wescott in Belfast, Maine. She moved to Florida back in 1955 and has been in Lakeland for 71 years. She has been married to her devoted husband, Dennis Eady, for the past 61 years. Jeannette enjoyed the beach, golfing, reading, and traveling.
She was an exemplary mother and human being who was spiritually grounded. She embodied the best qualities of unconditional love, strength of spirit, and unending generosity that could be seen in her care for her family and friends. She volunteered her time to the school to be near her children and devoted her time to her Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jeannette is survived by her husband Dennis Eady, her son Larry Eady married to Jennifer Eady, and her daughter Sharon Eady. Her grandchildren are Alivia Eady and Gavin Eady.

Graveside services will be held on February 6th, 2026, at 10:30 am at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lakeland, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeannette’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
