Jeanne E. Vena's Obituary
Jeanne E. Vena; 75, passed away gracefully surrounded by her family Wednesday, February 26, 2020. She was born August 13, 1944 in Quincy, MA to the late William James Reardon and the late Elizabeth Mary Noqueira Reardon.
Jeanne and her husband have resided in Lakeland for 13 years, relocating from Plymouth, MA. Graduating from Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing in 1965, she spent many years in various nursing disciplines during her career, retiring in 2007.
She was an avid quilter, talented in ceramics and enjoyed reading and baking. She was a communicant of Resurrection Catholic Church.
Surviving are: her husband, of 53 years, James A. Vena; a son, James C. Vena of Raleigh, NC; two daughters, Debra J. Zambito of Anna Maria, FL and Cheryl Rachupka of Tiverton, RI; four grandchildren, Zachary J. and Kooper C. Vena both of Raleigh, NC, Brooke J. and Aubrey D. Rachupka both of Tiverton, RI.
The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 am Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens, 3350 Mall Hill Dr., Lakeland. Her Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 am at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Terrace Way, Lakeland. Rev Jose Vanegas will officiate.
