Jeanette Arlisa Clark
Mulberry – Jeanette Arlisa Clark, 80, died October 6, 2020. Mrs. Clark was born in Flint, MI on November 12, 1939.
She was the fifth child of Clayton and Erma Wellsted. She was a graduate of Armada High School in Armada, MI.
She completed Junior College in Flint, MI. In 1960, she married Howard D. Vogt. She managed the Fluoritab Corp. until after his death. They had three children. On August 17, 2001 she married her soul-mate, Jerry Clark. They lived together in Montrose, MI for over 20 years.
Throughout her life, Mrs Clark had a true heart for her family and community. Some of her notable accomplishments include;
President of the Lake Hamilton Women’s Club, President of the Polk County Women’s Club, President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #6579, Polk County Election Worker, and an active member of every church she attended. Currently she was a member of Highlands Church of Christ.
Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Clayton Jr. and Richard, her sister, Genetta; and her beloved husband, Jerry Clark.
She is survived by her three children, Grace, Laura (husband, Richard), and Paul (wife, Denise); grandchildren, Duane, Brian, Kimberly, Brandi, Apryl, Jenna, Leah, Kayla, Jory, Meghan and Ella; great-grandchildren, Arlisa, Andrew, Bree, Jake, Kiley, Walker, Audrey, Sam, DJ, Jack,
TJ, Gabby, Lily, Cayden, Kayla, and Killian, She is also survived by her brother, Marvin Wellsted.
Mrs. Clark will be interned at the Montrose Cemetery, Montrose, MI, alongside her husband.
