JANETTE 'NETTER' TUCKER O'BRIEN, 42
LAKELAND - Janette 'Netter' Tucker O'Brien was born in Plant City, FL, on July 11, 1972. She was married July 20, 2002, in Lakeland, FL, to Joseph Jennings O'Brien. She ended her battle with breast cancer on January 13, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Joseph (Lakeland, FL) and her children Ali and John Kirby (VA), Madison and Josh Horwitz (VA), Connor O'Brien (Lakeland), and Tucker O'Brien (Lakeland). She is also survived by her parents Dr. John and Jane Tucker of Lakeland, as well as her siblings, Tina Strawbridge (Tim-o) of Lakeland, Theresa Riggs (Todd) of Virginia, Matt Tucker (Kim) of Lakeland, Tricia Sinn (Ted) of Orlando, and Anthony Tucker (Rachel) of Georgia and their families, including 19 nephews and nieces. She received her education degree from Covenant College in 1994 and taught elementary school in Georgia, Lakeland Christian School, and Virginia for 12 years. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and served in their Women's Ministry. A visitation will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 301 N. Florida Avenue, Lakeland, FL, 33801, on Sunday, January 18, 2015, from 5 to 7pm and a memorial service will be held on Monday January 19, 2015, at Trinity Presbyterian at 11am. In lieu of flowers Janette and the family has requested donations be given to Seejesus.net.
