Janet Wheaton-Waldo's Obituary
Janet M Wheaton-Waldo, 61 of Polk City FL passed away on August 12th, 2021 at Lakeland Regional Hospital.
Janet was born in Fairfield Iowa on January 23rd, 1960 and moved to Florida in 1989. She went to Culinary School and became an amazing cook. She was a chef for the Kanas City Royals for several years. She went into management and was a store manager for Circle K for many years. She spent the last 10 or 11 years as a store manager for Dollar General.
Janet was a hard working woman and was loving, caring, giving and passionate.
Janet loved being a mother and grandmother more than anything. She loved Archery, being at the camp and hunting and being a doggie momma.
Janet is survived by her husband Alvin Waldo. Her only daughter Jennifer Reynolds-Smith of Vinton, IA. Grandsons Timothy Reynolds of Warner Robins, GA and Landon Smith of Vinton, IA. Future Great Grandson, Jethro that was on the way. Step Daughter, Stacy Waldo-Hernandez and her daughter. Step Son, Chad Waldo, his wife Miata and their 3 kids. And also her best friend Linda.
Janet has went home to be with her Mom Shirley and Dad Clifford in Heaven. She was loved so much and will be missed more than she will ever know.
