Janet Davis' Obituary
Janet Louise Davis
September 9, 1942 – June 3, 2025
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Janet Louise Davis on June 3, at the age of 82. She was a devoted wife, cherished mother, and beloved grandmother, known for her sharp intellect and dry sense of humor.
Born in Celina, Ohio, Janet grew up on a farm where she embraced the values of hard work and perseverance. In her early twenties, she moved to Lakeland, Florida, where she experienced profound loss as a young widow. She later remarried, creating a life filled with love, faith, and adventure. Alongside her husband AJ, Janet was actively involved in Victory Assembly of God Church and a proud member of the Victory Riders motorcycle group. Together, they built several successful businesses, allowing them to travel and enjoy life to the fullest.
Janet was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Stanley Holaday, and her second husband, Andrew Jackson Davis II, to whom she was married for 39 years. She is survived by her children, Terri Saunders (Sharon), Lisa Heimrich (Larry), Kevin Holaday (Stephanie), and Andrew Davis III; her grandchildren, Jessie, Kelley, LJ, Garrett, Sandy, Shelby, Jenny, Savannah, and Malanie; and several great-grandsons. Her love, wisdom, and unwavering faith will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
The family would like to thank Gloria Williams, DeAshley Thurman and the staff of Heartland Hospice for their unending love and care during her illness.
A visitation will take place from 9-10am on Thursday, June 12th at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel, 3350 Mall Hill Dr, Lakeland, FL. The funeral service and interment will follow.
