James "Jim" Knutson's Obituary
James D. Knutson
A 60-year resident of Lakeland passed away on October 20, 2022. Jim was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He proudly served his country in the US Army. Jim enjoyed playing golf and watching Minnesota sports both football and baseball.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and his loving wife of over 40 years, Judith who passed away in 2005. He will be missed by his son David Knutson of Winter Haven, Florida, his grandchildren David Knutson, Jr. of Winter Haven, Florida, Christina Trank of Winter Haven, Florida, William Knutson of Winter Haven, Florida, Nicholas Knutson of Winter Haven, Florida and Anna-Marie Knutson of Tampa, Florida. Great grandchildren Cooper Knutson of Winter Haven, Florida and Alina Trank of Lakeland, Florida.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, November 3rd at 10:00 am, Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens, 3350 Mall Hill Drive, Lakeland, Florida 33810. Inurnment with military honors will follow at 12:30 pm, Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
