James Knaack's Obituary
James Knaack went home to the Lord on February 16, 2023, at the age of 71.
James was born to Janice Knaack-Bennett on December 18, 1952. James gave his life to the Lord in 1984 where he drove a church bus for West Lakeland Church of God picking up kids and taking them to church. Later attending Cornerstone Church of God under Pastor Massey.
James joins his mother in heaven where they are surely taking walks together by the Crystal Sea. Also preceding him in death are his two daughters, Melissa and Barbara, who I am sure are tagging along on these walks from time to time. He is survived by his son, Jason; and grandchildren Lauralee, Audrey, Eric, Eylisa, and Breanna; and great-grandchildren Maliyah, Nikoli, and Adalynn.
James will be remembered for his love of the Lord, love for his country, and willingness to help his family no matter the reason. He will be missed and forever loved.
Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2023 from 12 Noon – 1 PM at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM at the funeral home, with interment at Oak Hill Burial Park. Refreshments will be served immediately after the service for anyone who would like to join the family at 1117 E. Lake Parker Drive, Lakeland, FL 33801.
