James "Jim" Wesley Nunley's Obituary
James “Jim” Wesley Nunley, 86, passed away August 14, 2024.
Jim was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on August 28, 1937, to the late Albert Anthony and Minnie Lee Meeks Nunley. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and went on to retire from a 25 plus year career as a refrigeration technician for Civil Service in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Jim is survived by his wife of 67 years, Alice Denise Henriette Bruneau Nunley; children, Pierre F. Nunley (Kellie), Nelly L. Crumley (Denny), James A. Nunley (Leslie) and Francoise Thompson (Jeff); grandchildren, Jesse and Landon; great-grandchildren, Oliver and Kai.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 10:30 am – 11 am at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Springhead Cemetery.
