JAMES 'ROYCE' DIXON, 75

LAKELAND - James 'Royce' Dixon, age 75, of Lakeland passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Mr. Dixon had been a resident of Lakeland since 1968, coming from Turkey Creek, Plant City area. He was a Supervisor of a Phosphate Mine for many years. Royce was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Survived by his wife, Sandra Cumbie Dixon; son, Jeff W. Dixon; daughter, Joy Lynn Harwell; brother, Robert Gail Dixon; grandson, Cody Dixon. A visitation will be held on Wednesday (today) April 22, 2015, from 4 to 6 PM at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Drive, Lakeland. Graveside services 10 AM on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Socrum Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Roberts and Paul Dixon officiating.
