Jackie Jones
Riverview – Jackie Jones, 79, went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 19, 2019.
Jackie was born in Laurinburg, NC on Oct. 9, 1939. She was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother to her family. She enjoyed painting and the arts. Jackie attended Lone Oak Baptist Church, and had a deep love for her Lord. She was a prayer warrior for her family, friends and those in need.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 43 years, Joe Jones; her children, John Ragsdale, Richard Ragsdale, Joseph Ragsdale and Shawn Vinson; step son, Jerome Jones; brother, Rick Whitlock; grandchildren, John “Jay” Ragsdale, Dana Ragsdale, Paige Moore, Jessica Near, Joey Smith, Sarah Shanklin, Charlie Ragsdale, Javier Quintero, Emma Grace Vinson, Pepper Jones and Jesse Jones; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Kayleigh and Delilah. She was preceded in death by her brother, Andy Whitlock.
A memorial service will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 at 4 pm at Lone Oak Baptist Church, Plant City, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jackie's honor to the American Cancer Society.
