Ismael Rodriguez, 91
Lakeland – Mr. Ismael Rodriguez passed away on Friday, December 4th, 2020 at Lakeland Regional Health. He was born in Villalba, Puerto Rico and moved to Lakeland from Orlando in 2009. He was a retired military veteran of the US Army serving over 22 years during Korea and Vietnam wars.
Ismael was preceded in death by his wife Pura Rosa Rodriguez in 2010; parents, Juan and Gregoria; son, Edgar Antonio Rodriguez.
He is survived by son, Elliott Ismael Rodriguez; daughter, Linda Rosa Rodriguez-Velazquez; sister, Carmen Ana Salgado; grandchildren, Sonja Warren, Gabriel Ismael Velazquez, Elliott Daniel Rodriguez, four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 14th, from 10 – 11 am at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens, 3350 Mall Hill Dr. Services to begin at 11:00 am. Interment with military honors will be same day, 2:00pm at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Condolences to the family may be offered at www.gentry-morrison.com
