Ida Faye Cardwell's Obituary
Ida Faye Cardwell,82, passed away on April 3, 2025, in Lakeland Florida. Born on September 24, 1942, Ida dedicated many years as MICU Health Unit Coordinator at Lakeland Regional Health Center, where her compassion and commitment to patient care were evident to all who worked alongside her.
Ida was a devout Christian and an active member of Victory Church in Lakeland. Her faith played a significant role throughout her life, providing her with strength and comfort. Ida was an avid gardener finding joy and peace in the beauty and tranquility of nature.
Ida leaves behind a legacy of love and loyalty, survived by her husband, Donald Cardwell Sr.; daughters, Charlean Knepper, Ivy Conatser and husband Steve; sons: Vincent Cardwell, Kirk Cardwell and wife Diane. She is a cherished grandmother to Mindy Cardwell, Matthew Cardwell, Ryleigh Cardwell, and Dalton Cardwell. Her brother Buck Witt also survives her. She is preceded in death by her parents Hayward Eugene Witt and Nell Adams Witt and her siblings, Alma Jean, Howard Leon, James, Vera and son-in-law Ron
Knepper.
A visitation at 11:30 and service at 12:00 to celebrate Ida's life will be held at Victory Church, 1401 Griffin Rd. Lakeland Florida 33810 on April
11, 2025.
Her life will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her devotion to her
family, and her kind and compassionate spirit.
