Hosler Lee Wall Jr.'s Obituary
Hosler Lee Wall Jr., better known as “H.L.” or “Pops” passed to his heavenly father at his vacation home in Englewood, FL on August 2, 2022. He was born February 28, 1941 in High Point, N.C. to Hosler Lee Wall and Edith Calcutt (Wall). In 1970, he took a job with Watkins Motor Lines and relocated his family to Lakeland, Florida. He also served as a Polk County Deputy for several years. In 1980 H. L. opened Hydraulic Services, Inc. and owned and operated it until his retirement in 2021. He was an athlete as a young man and thoroughly enjoyed sports throughout his life. He was a loyal fan of the Florida Gators and Tampa Bay Rays as well as NASCAR. He will be remembered by many as a dedicated coach in the Medulla baseball leagues. H.L enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, auctions, guns, and spending time at his home in Englewood FL, but enjoyed nothing more than simply spending time with friends and family.
H. L. is survived by his love of 28 years, Barbara Resmondo, sons Lee Wall (Maggi), Todd Wall (Stephanie), grandchildren Erin, Lee and Lily, brother Butch Stallings, extended family, Robby Hendry (April), Joey Resmondo, extended grandchildren Madelyn and Reagan as well as many very dear friends.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, August 23rd at 3:00 p.m. at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland, FL. A celebration of Life will follow at 5:00 p.m. at Grasslands Golf & Country Club.
