LAKELAND- Hesta Florence Robson, 85, of Lakeland, passed away peacefully at home on March 27 due to natural causes. Hesta was born in Plant City, and was a lifelong resident of this area. She attended and graduated from Kathleen High School, was active for many years in the PTA, and was a Sunday School teacher for over 30 years at Calvary Baptist Church where she belonged for over 60 years. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, James Edward Robson, Sr., her daughter Debbie McConnell and husband Rob; her sons Jim and wife Peggy, Rev. Tim and wife Sharon, Rickey and wife Denise, and Daniel. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Melody and Holly Robson, Jerrett McConnell and his wife Tammy, Diana McDaniel and husband Allan, Timothy Robson and wife Amy, Jonathan Robson and wife Jessica, Julie McClure and husband Mike, Charity, Christopher, and Madelyn Robson; and her 11 great grandchildren, Jack, Sam, Chloe, Ethan, Casey, J.J., Georgia Mae, Samuel, Garrett, Cara and Brenden.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 11:00 am at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens, 3350 Mall Hill Dr., Lakeland, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Socrum Cemetery.
