Hermon Ray Owens Sr.'s Obituary
Hermon R Owens Sr of Lakeland, 79, began his journey home in the early hours of Dec 23rd.
Born in Palmetto Fl, to John Angus and Molly Owens on March 21st, 1938.
Hermon is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Rosalee Owens; sons Hermon Ray Jr (Pete) of Lakeland, John Edward of Landrum SC, and Marty Lee, and wife Dorinda, of Lake Wales; his siblings Therman Owens and Vaughn Sinard, 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
He attended Bartow High. He married his only love in 58' and then moved to Lakeland.
He served the Lakeland area as an RV Tech for over 45 years. He loved to airboat, hunt, and fish, as well as work in his home garden.
A graveside service will be conducted by Pastor Dan Applewhite at Bethel Church Cemetery on Friday Dec 29th, 2017 at 10am. The family will receive friends and family for the service
