Ray Bazo, 78, passed away on March 4, 2016. He was born in Miami, FL on February 11, 1938 to Henry and Pauline Bazo. Ray grew up in Key West, FL and later graduated from Embry Riddle University in Miami. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering and worked on several government projects including the Saturn V rocket.
Ray enjoyed gardening, traveling, and was an avid sports fan. His favorite enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends. Ray will be deeply missed by all the lives that he touched.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Arline; sons, Michael (Carolyn) Garcia and Raymond Mark Bazo; daughters, Susan (Ron) Enman, Cheryl Bazo, Jeanette (Curtis) Snyder; brother in-laws, Robert (Alice) Semler and Gerald Semler; and 9 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at 11:30 am with a celebration of life beginning at 12 pm at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road Lakeland, FL 33801.
