Helen Cone's Obituary
Helen Cone passed away December 18th at the age of 92. She was a long-time resident of the Citrus Woods community.
Helen was originally from Island Lake, IL. She resided in Citrus woods near 2 of her sisters, Nancy Michaels and Judy Lundy (Gosnell).
Helen Cone was also preceded in death by her long-time companion Frank Cone, who resided in FL until his passing. Helen had no children but loved all her nieces and nephews as well as all their children and grandchildren, all of which always referred to her as "Aunt Tutu"!
She is survived by her brother, Raymond Clark, sister, Nancy Michaels, brother, Charles Clark and sister Judy Lundy (Gosnell) (Russ Lundy).
She was preceded in death by her mother Esther Clark and father, Raymond Clark, both who resided in Island Lake, IL. Also preceded in death by her sister Terry Luttrell (Ray) and brother, Norm Clark (Stevie).
Helen worked here in Florida at Winn-Dixie until retiring. She then worked in the Citrus Woods community helping other retired residents that needed assistance. Many depended on her kind assistance until she, herself could no longer take care of others.
Helen loved playing cards with friends and had a deep passion for animals and planting and growing plants. She will be deeply missed by all that loved her!
A visitation will be held at Citrus Woods Park- Annex building, Thursday, January 2nd at 11:30 AM.
Graveside service will follow immediately for family members.
