Rev. Harold C. Mintle's Obituary
Born September 26, 1928 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska; Deceased October 12, 2019 in Lakeland, Florida at the age of 91.
The deceased was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha (Bea) Eskam Mintle, His father Everett and mother, Blanche Tanner Mintle; his son, Nathan Mintle.
Succeeding him are: his son, Drs. Norman and Linda Mintle, of Lynchburg, VA. and their children; Matthew and Kaitlyn.
His daughter, Marlyce Mintle Johnson and husband, Michael Johnson, of Charles City, VA., and their children: Christopher and Corey Johnson and Christina Johnson Crowell and their children: Ethan, Collin, Isabelle, and Liam; all of near Williamsburg, VA.
His son, Marcus Mintle and his wife Casey of Dallas, TX.
And the sons of Nathan: Jonathan, Lakeland, Florida; Brandon, Austin, TX and Larsson Mintle, Wisconsin.
He served as a minister of the Gospel since 1951; ordained into the Assemblies of God Ministry in 1953. He received his full pastoral degree from North Central Bible University, Minneapolis, MN in 1972.
The Mintles were appointed as Assemblies of God Missionaries in 1961 and served in that capacity in many different capacities and positions for 42 years. They resided in Costa Rica and Honduras, Central America and Argentina and Ecuador, South America. Later, he served in leadership positions for several ministries whose work took him to every Latin American country and many more worldwide.
They moved to the Estates at Carpenters in September 2000 where they were happily and vibrantly involved in that community in various ministerial and leadership capacities.
Visitation will be Sunday October 20th from 2-3 pm, with a 3 pm funeral service at Victory Church's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rev. Mintle's honor to Good Shepherd Hospice.
