Harold Mills' Obituary
Harold Mills, 76, died Friday, July 3, 2020 at home. He was born February 13, 1944 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Kos Nobel Mills and Jewell Miller Mills.
He worked for many years as a commercial painter with the International Union Painters & Allied Trades, Local 88. Harold was a member of the Indian River Camp 47, CSA of Civil War Reenactment, and was a member of his neighborhood watch group.
Harold was a proud veteran of the US Marine Corp and a Vietnam Veteran.
Surviving are: his wife, Pamela Mills of Lakeland; a daughter, Heidi Harper and her husband, Eric of Lakeland; a son, Doug Mills and his wife, Angel of Lakeland; a grandson, Ethan Harper of Lakeland; three granddaughters, Hayley Harper, Shelby & Bailey Mills both of Lakeland; three brothers, Carrol Mills of Frostproof, Birdie Mills of Bartow and Tommy Mills of Merritt Island.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Dr., Lakeland. Funeral services with military honors will be held at 10:00 am Friday, July 10, 2020 in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
