Aunt Goldie had great compassion and love for her family and friends, and demonstrated it in numerous ways over the years. She will forever be remembered for her kind deeds and help to others...She has now gone to reap her reward in heaven. She will be sorely missed by those who knew her. My dad was Goldie's brother. I have wonderful memories of Aunt Goldie...as a child staying weekends with she and Uncle Junior in their home in Baptist Valley, VA. She had a love for children, and I can't remember her coming for a visit that she didn't have socks, a shirt or something she had picked up with us in mind. I know there is a joyous reunion in Heaven with her parents and her siblings! Joe, Wanda, Linda and Danny.... I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm praying for God's peace to be with you.
Goldie was my Mother's youngest sister and she spent a lot of time with our family. She was the best Aunt and friend that anyone could ask for, she helped take care of my Mom when her health was failing. I will miss her but I am happy that she is in a wonderful place. She was a wonderful wife, mother , sister ,grandmother, aunt and friend.
