George "Andy" Cristofaro's Obituary
George Andrew Cristofaro, known to all as “Andy,” passed away on January 27, 2026, in Lakeland, Florida. He was born on April 17, 1956, in Bartow, Florida, the 4th son born to Fred Sr. and Winifred (Canova) Cristofaro.
Andy met the love of his life, Lori Harrell, in Mulberry, Florida. The two were married on January 10, 1981, and recently celebrated 45 years of loving marriage. Their life together was marked by devotion, faith, and family.
Andy proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army for more than two decades, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant in 1996. His service reflected his deep sense of duty, discipline, and commitment to others.
A devoted and faithful member of Fellowship Church Assembly of God for many years, Andy lived his faith daily. He enjoyed golfing and dancing, but above all else, his greatest joy was being “Papa” to his beloved grandchildren.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Sr. and Winifred Cristofaro; his brother, Fred Cristofaro Jr.; and his cherished furry companion, Champ. He is survived by his loving wife, Lori Cristofaro; his daughters, Kelly (Allen) Lott and Heather (Brandon) Cristofaro; his brothers, Ron, Joe, and Lenni Cristofaro; and his nine grandchildren, Jakob, Janeisa, Emely, Kamryn, Kaden, Kiree, AJ, Aubrey, and Jayceon.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Fellowship Church, 4405 N. Galloway Road, Lakeland, Florida. A committal service with military honors will take place promptly at 1:30 p.m. that afternoon at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
