Gene Howard LaMay's Obituary
Gene went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 4:56 am.
He is survived by his wife Jeanne, sister Joyce, three daughters and son-in-laws,
Tonia (Paul), Heather (Brian), Cheri (Gary) and seven grandchildren.
Gene came from a humble background, born and raised in the projects of Fulton, New York, by his single mother. He was the boy they said would never amount to much, but because of the saving grace and mercy of Jesus, he became an ordained pastor after four years of Bible School at Valley Forge in PA, pastored New Live A/G in Windsor Locks, CT for five years and was an AGWM missionary for 35 years serving in Belgium, France, Latin America and around the world! He gave his ALL for Jesus!
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Light of Lights Chapel, at Victory Church, Lakeland, FL on Saturday, October 14th at 11:00 am. All are welcome to join us!
In lieu of flowers, all donations gladly accepted to cover the expenses of the service and a generous offering will be given to Cornerstone Hospice, for their end of life care.
