It's been nearly 7 years ago now. Today, I received a call from my wife in the car who was having a moment. That moment oddly enough led me to this wall. Thanks to all who shared and remembered. I'm not even sure I have ever been to this wall myself. It brought a little reflection for the day. We miss Gabe so-so much and will never truly be able to believe that this happen to our family. The world has moved on and many of those that knew of Gabe has probably forgotten him. Yet, we remember each day that passes as though we are stuck in time. We love you Gabe as we tell you often and miss you so much. Once again, thanks for all you taking the time to post. There are no words in any language that could ever define the loss of a child. See you again someday soon.

I am so sorry for the loss of Gabe. He was always such a sweet little kid and always giving hugs to everyone! Your whole family is in my thoughts and prayers, if I still lived in Florida I would be there tonight but I am sorry that I cannot. 🙏🏻

It has been a while, but my sons (Justin and Ben) and I played basketball with Gabe at CBC many times. He was fun to be around - a respectful young man, kind, funny, and very, very tall! Heartbreaking news to hear of his passing - he always seemed so full of life.

Our family is brokenhearted at the passing of Gabe. We always enjoyed seeing him and listening to him talk about what was happening in his life at the time. Elijah really liked visiting Gabe. He had such fun playing the video game Destiny and basketball with Gabe! We really enjoyed helping him celebrate his 18th birthday last year and listening to him talk about his future plans. It is a memory we will always cherish. We are lifting up the Renfroe family in our prayers and asking the Lord to give the peace and strength that can only come from the Throne of Grace.
