FREDERICK GEORGE EARL, 84
AUBURNDALE
Frederick George Earl, age 84, passed away Tuesday evening April 22. 2014 at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Auburndale Florida from heart failure. Tuesday afternoon there had been a beautiful ceremony at Good Shepherd Hospice in his room honoring Frederick as a Navy veteran. It was attended by his wife Coral, daughter Chari and her husband Rod and 3 of his grandchildren: Meghann, Benjamin and Jeffrey. Frederick was born in Pontiac, Michigan on August 30, 1929 to William Herbert Earl and Louise (Hehn) Earl. He was a resident of Mt. Morris Michigan and Flint Michigan until moving to Auburndale in 1992. In his early years he worked at various jobs including a school bus driver, shoe store salesman and a bartender, where he learned to perfect the making of a Manhattan. His career was with FE Knickerbocker Oldsmobile in Mt. Morris Michigan for 40 years. He was a lifetime member with the DAV. He was also a member of the American Legion #64 and a member of the Moose Lodge #2188 in Anna Maria Island. He enjoyed going to the beach at Anna Maria Island, boating, watching movies and he was also a season ticket holder with the Detroit Tigers Spring Training in Lakeland for many years. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, father in law, grandfather and great grandfather, always making time and being there for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Louise (Hehn) Earl, his siblings Sandy Earl, Katie (Earl) Breckenridge, Doris (Earl) Nicholson and Bill Earl. He was also preceded in death by his loving daughter Cindy (Earl) Clark. He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 64 years Coral (Fortune) Earl, loving daughter Chari (Earl) Will and her husband Rod Will of Auburndale, his grandchildren Meghann (Clark) Stone, Jillian (Clark) Munoz and Sean Clark of Virginia, grandsons Benjamin George Will and his fiancée Dawn and her daughter Kayla and Jeffrey Frederick Will of Auburndale. Frederick has 2 great grandchildren: twins Sophie and Lily Stone of Virginia.
Frederick is being cremated at Gentry-Morrison of Lakeland. In lieu of flowers any donations can be made in his name to Good Shepherd Hospice (George C. Forsythe House) 105 Arneson Ave, Auburndale FL 33823.
