Fred Gillespie
Lakeland – Fred William Gillespie, 67, passed away Nov. 27, 2015.
Mr. Gillespie was born in Indiana on Nov. 2, 1948 to the late Lester and Mary Gillespie. He worked as a carpenter, and enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping in his spare time.
Mr. Gillespie was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Ruth Gillespie. He is survived by his children, Ray Gillespie, Stephanie Bell, Tracey Wilson and Virginia Borne; siblings, Ernie, Betty, Judy, Rosie and Sandy; as well as his eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tues. from 10-11 am at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Rd. Lakeland. Funeral services will follow at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Oak Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Mr. Gillespie’s family.
