Francis (Frank) R. Whitehouse
Lakeland, Florida- Francis (Frank) R. Whitehouse, age 76, passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born in Burlington, Vermont, on August 21, 1943, son of the late Clarence and Anita Whitehouse. He attended Burlington High School and served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. After proudly serving his country, he worked for General Electric, where he retired after 25 years. After retiring, he moved from Milton, Vermont to Georgetown, Texas and eventually Lakeland, Florida.
Frank is survived by his wife, Diane, married for 52 years; daughter, Angie and husband, Anthony Sposato; son, Jimmy and wife Angelique Whitehouse; granddaughter, Taylor Sposato; 7 Grandsons, Michael Sposato, James Bell, Casey Whitehouse, Matthew Bessette, Thomas, Anthony, and Christopher Farrell. He is also survived by his brother, Leo (Ann) Whitehouse; sisters in law and brother in law, Marie Kalista, Lynn and Debbie Whitehouse, Paul and Jeannine Henry as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frank was also predeceased by 5 sisters, Priscilla Bessette, Dorothy Diley, Theresa Bessette, Rosemary Francis, Ann Whitehouse and 4 brothers, Kenneth Bevins, Clarence, Arnold and Robin Whitehouse.
Services will be held on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Lakeland, Florida, followed by full military honors at Serenity Gardens.
