It is with profound sadness that the family of Fe Resuello Bauer announces her peaceful passing on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the age of 86. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Early Life
Fe Bauer was born on July 22, 1939, in North Samar, Philippines to Maximo Resuello and Segunda Resuello (Merino). She grew up in San Roque and from a young age, she was known for her warm smile and generous spirit. She adored her brothers and sister, childhood pets,
Family & Personal Life
After earning her degree in the Philippines, Fe traveled to the United States through a work program, eager to put her knowledge of microbiology to use. She began her career at a hospital in Tennessee before moving to New Jersey, where she worked in hospital laboratories and at the National Institutes of Health.
While living in New Jersey, Fe met and married Franz P. Bauer in Orange, New Jersey, in 1975. Together, they welcomed two children, Elisabeth and Maximillian, who remained the center of her life.
In the early 1980s, Fe moved to Pennsylvania before ultimately settling in Lakeland, Florida, in the late 1980s, where she made her home for the remainder of her life. As a single mother, she was fiercely devoted; raising her children with strength, grace, and unwavering dedication, ensuring they were always surrounded by love and never lacking in care or support. With a gentle spirit and generous heart, she leaves behind a lasting legacy of love.
Career & Passions
Fe devoted more than 35 years to her career as a microbiologist, working in hospitals across Tennessee, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. One of the highlights of her distinguished career was serving as the lab manager at the National Institutes of Health in New Jersey. After moving to Lakeland, Florida, Fe continued her work in the laboratories at Watson Clinic and Lakeland Regional Health until her retirement. Throughout her career, she was a dedicated mentor to countless medical professionals, generously sharing her knowledge and guiding others at every stage of their journey.
Beyond her work in the laboratory, Fe was an avid reader who found great joy in tending to her gardens, cultivating orchards, caring for animals, cooking for family and friends, and filling her home with music. She shared warmth and kindness with everyone around her. Guided by unwavering faith, she lived with compassion, grace, and love, leaving behind a beautiful legacy that will never be forgotten

• Her children: Elisabeth Kang and Maximillian Bauer
• Her grandchildren: Nikolaus Kang, Dante Kang, Baron Kang, Wolfgang Bauer, and Aivyana Bauer
• Her siblings: Maximo Resuello and Monserrat Resuello
• And many cherished extended family members and friends
She was preceded in death by:
• Her parents: Maximo Resuello and Segunda Resuello
• Her siblings: Delsanto Resuello, Romeo Resuello, Decoroso Resuello, Bartolome Resuello
• Her former spouse: Franz P Bauer
