I will miss my dear friend. It has been my honor to care for her needs at Florida Holiness Campground and while she lived at Lakeland Nursing and Rehab. She was a prayer warrior, and I'm so thankful and blessed to have known her.
She helped so many people on barns mountain, we might not have made it as kids if it wasn,t for her . im going to miss her, so said that they didnot have a service for her
I've know this wonderful Lady since I was a baby. She brought me to church of the Nazarene on Barnes Mountain in Kentucky. She has helped my family immensely. Since 5 years of age i had a chronic condition with my health and we didn't always have transportation and she would always make sure I would go to my doctor's appointment. As i got old enough she invited me to join youth group and later the YTC (youth temperance council). So many memories that i could write a book. May she rest in peace and smile to us from the arms of Jesus. She is a true Saint. I Love you Miss. Ickes.
