Ethan was always cool and calm in my memories of him. I remember teasing him that he was the whitest person in our family and he needed a tan. I tried to get him to sit by the pool, but he grabbed pizza and went back inside. Then he sat by the pool when the sun went down, lol. He was funny.
My heart goes out to Uncle Paul and Aunt Melinda and David, Cameron, Candace and Mallory. I can't imagine the pain you are feeling. May the Lord's presence surround you, keep you close, and saturate you with His peace beyond understanding. I love you all so much and am praying that the Lord will whisper to your heart that He's right there and will carry this pain alongside you. He sees you, hears you, and has you.
Paul and Melinda, Mel and I are deeply saddened and pray for comfort for the whole family. Words cannot express what you must be feeling right now but to know that much prayers are going your way and that our Heavenly Father will give your peace.
We have sweet memories of Ethan being a quiet and sweet little boy---Remember him joyfully finding eggs during an egg hunt, having fun hanging onto a raft in the swimming pool with his sisters, and jumping to the sky on a trampoline. Even though I was unable to spend much time with Ethan due to my work schedule and living in different cities, I have a couple of fond memories of him as a child and teenager. When Ethan was four, his father dropped him off one Saturday morning to spend the day with Grandma White. He and Grandma had fun cooking pancakes on a skillet while eating the batter and burning the cakes. Ethan was very talkative and he and grandma had a blast. In the second instance of my interaction with Ethan, he came over with his father as his father came to help me paint the Interior if the Zephyrhills middle school. Ethan played with ball with much energy throughout the day and even beat me in a few games of horse. Ethan, you were loved by many and will be missed in this world.

Dearest Ethan, my heart aches and misses you so. Life is but a vapor, before we know it, our loved one's not there. The life you lived, the air you breathed, always reflected eternity. Material things were never your kind, reality to you left others blind. Nothing on earth was real to you, cars, money, all the things we do. I remember the sweet little boy with an infectious smile that grew into a young man with a great mind. When he got ready to attend college we discussed what classes to take because he shared my interest in computer science. I sure am going to miss that smile until we meet again in heaven.
