Eneida Pelfort's Obituary
Eneida Pelfort peacefully passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025, surrounded by family in Lakeland, FL. She was born on November 20, 1942, in Santa Clara, Cuba.
Eneida was preceded in death by her sister, Delia Aquino and brothers, Jose & Alberto Dominguez. She is survived by husband, Carlos Pelfort, daughter, Zaira Thompson, son, Frank Villalba (Belkis), stepson Nick Pelfort (Dylan) & stepdaughter Michelle Dadey (Bill), grandchildren (Janessa, Yesenia, Nicole, Paige, Justin, Austin & Alina) & 5 great-grandchildren.
Eneida was an avid tennis player and often modeled for various department stores in Lakeland. She was an esthetician and caretaker throughout her adult life. She had a passion for gardening, and you’d often find her passing out candy canes during Christmas time to cars driving by looking at Christmas lights.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a donation to be made to the Alzheimer's Association (Alzheimer's Association | Donate to Fight Alzheimer's Disease).
Memorial services for Eneida will be held on Friday, January 24 at 2pm at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland, FL 33801.
