Emily Fernandez, 27 of Richmond, VA passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2022 in Cary, NC.
Emily was born January 15, 1995 in Hialeah, Florida to Felix Fernandez and Olga Gomez.
Emily is survived by her mother, Olga who lives in Virginia; her father, Felix who lives in Miami; her sons, Ely and Malachi who live in North Carolina; her sister, Jennifer, her nephew, Adrian, her niece, Victoria; her cousins, Merylyn, Harlyn and Harvy all of Florida; her uncles, Chris, Danny and Geraldo and her aunt, Ingrid Watler.
Our beloved Emily was a kind and gentle soul who loved everyone. She had a pure heart who always saw the good in people. Her friends and family would describe her the sweetest person you would ever meet. Emily loved music and all the colors of the rainbow and everything glittery. Her smile was captivating and her laughter contagious.
Friends and family will be received 12-1pm Saturday at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home Southside Chapel where funeral services will take place that afternoon at 1 pm. Interment will follow the funeral service at Oak Hill Burial Park.
