Ellen E Nichols' Obituary
Ellen Nichols, 69 of Lakeland, Florida quietly and peacefully passed away on March 1, 2016. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Charles Nichols Sr., her three sons Charles Nichols Jr. 53, Duane Nichols 50, and Scott Nichols 42, her seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, her sister Mary Register and several nieces and nephews. She was born Ellen Nellums on October 1, 1946 in Lynn Haven, Florida. She married Charles on May 19, 1962 and resided in Panama City. Work moved them both to New Orleans in 1967, and again to Pensacola in 1973. She and her husband finally moved to Lakeland in 1995 where she retired, until the Lord called her home on March 1, 2016. She was a gentle, kind loving woman who will be greatly remembered for her love of her family and will be sorrowly missed. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gentry Morrison Funeral Home on March 5, 2016 from 6-8 pm.
