Elizabeth Diane Canady's Obituary
Elizabeth Dianne Canady was born Elizabeth Dollar in Columbus, Georgia on January 31, 1945, and was called home on July 22, 2021 in Lakeland, Florida, the town where she was raised and spent almost her entire life. She is survived by husband Don Canady, son Troy Williams, and brothers Kenneth Dollar, Carroll Bryant, and Rod Bryant. She was preceded in homegoing by mother Norma Collins Bryant (2004), father Van Dollar (1970), and step-father Hoyt Bryant (2008).
Known by her middle name to friends and family, Dianne graduated from Kathleen High School in Lakeland in 1963. She worked in offices for various companies such as State Farm before retiring early and spending most of her adult life as a homemaker. Dianne loved the beach, oyster bars, cats, Christmas, the Moody Blues and other soft rock bands, family, and above all her loving son and only child Troy.
Graveside service will be Friday, August 6, at 10:00 AM at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland.
