Edward Joseph Eusini's Obituary
Edward Joseph “Poppy” Eusini, 82, died Friday, June 14, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 17, 1941 in New York, New York to the late William and Mae (Thompson) Eusini. He joined the United States Army immediately upon graduating high school, serving from 1959 to 1962 before entering the reserves. After serving a military career for over 30 years, he went on to serve as a career firefighter for Baltimore City for 34 years prior to retirement. Edward has resided in Lakeland with for the past 22 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 44 years, Blanche "Helen" Eusini.
Poppy is survived by: Daughter Sandra Spradlin of Lakeland; sons David Spradlin of Kissimmee and Ronald Eusini of Land O Lakes, son Brian Eusini, son Richard Baker, daughter Laura Russell; sister Mary Morell and her husband Arschel Morell; brother Bill Eusini and his wife Kimberly Watkins; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 7:00-8:00 pm Monday, June 17, 2024 at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Dr., Lakeland. A committal service will be held at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell.
