E.D. Temples Jr's Obituary
Lakeland – E.D. Temples, Jr., 80 passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 in his sleep.
Mr. Temples was born April 30, 1934 to Eulous David and Bernice Temples in Lakeland, FL.
Mr. Temples owned and operated Temples Irrigation for over 30 years. He also worked for the City of Lakeland’s water department and was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his children, Charlene Smith (Chip), Ed Temples (Cindy), Anita Shoupe (Mike), Sondra Temples and Kenneth Temples; sisters, Edith Cauley and his twin sister, Edna Kirkland; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mr. Temples’ family will receive friends Monday, March 2, 2015 from 10-11am at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at 3350 Mall Hill Drive in Lakeland. A celebration of his life will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Jason Cox officiating. Interment will be conducted at Socrum Cemetery.
