Doris was a dear friend. As my roommate for 3 years at Regent University, she was like a big sister to me, when I was an international student from Hong Kong. She taught me a lot, and introduced new ideas that enriched my life in the US tremendously. She also played a major role getting Bill and I together, which later turned into a romance and our marriage. Her wittiness, intelligence, kindness, and generosity showed throughout our friendship. Often her unapologetic opinions made our discussions and conversations more interesting. She was truely a great friend and sister in Christ!
Doris is in a better place now: no sorrow, no pain, and no tears. Until we will meet again in our heavenly Father's house, enjoy Heaven, Doris!

My condolences, Gregg. What I most appreciated about Doris was how much she cared for the children at Groveton Baptist Church, and how creative she was in teaching them. My children were among those, and she always would ask about them throughout the years. She blessed us in many ways.
Doris was always a faithful, loving and generous member of Etz Chayim Messianic Synagogue. She will be greatly missed by everyone. We are thankful she is now in the presence of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. Rabbi Yossi and Irene Laster
